Dr. Santoro was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She received her Bachelors in Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler family residency program and chose to stay in Tyler after falling in love with the smaller town.
Dr. Santoro speaks both English and Spanish and enjoys being able to speak with most of her patients in their native language. She chose family medicine because of the diversity this field offers “In medical school, I enjoyed every rotation from Rheumatology to Neurology. In Family Medicine, I am exposed to at least a little bit of every specialty. It allows me the opportunity to practice preventative medicine to keep people as healthy as they can be.” She enjoys managing diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, reading and watching her favorite shows.
