Women’s Services

About Us

Family Circle of Care was established in 2013 as Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC); however, our community care did not start there – our clinics have provided health services to women in the area since 1993. Whether you are cared for by one of our highly skilled Obstetric physicians, nurse practitioners or one of our Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), you can expect to receive dedicated, compassionate and affordable care and support.

We are focused on your health and encourage you to work with us as partners in care so you can make informed decisions about your health care.

CenteringPregnancy

CenteringPregnancy is prenatal care that includes your regular health check-up with additional time for learning and sharing.

Each session includes interactive learning that will let you experience your pregnancy in a new and rewarding way. Join other expectant moms who have the same questions you do.

Centering group prenatal care follows the recommended schedule of 10 prenatal visits, but each visit is 90 minutes to two hours long, giving women much more time with their provider.

Once health assessments are complete, the provider and support staff “circle-up” with moms and support people. They lead facilitative discussions and interactive activities designed to address important and timely health topics while leaving room to discuss what’s important to the group. Centering materials help moms and providers ensure that everything from nutrition, common discomforts, stress management, labor and delivery, breastfeeding, and infant care are covered in the group.
